Claire,Tempest, and Leona: triplets blessed--or cursed--each with a special extra sense that they would deny, given the chance . . .
Claire, the youngest, finds solitude and escape in rural Montana. The descendant of an ancient Celtic seer, she struggles to conceal her unsettling power to sense what others feel--the good and the evil, the pain and the joy.
When her peace is shattered by her new neighbor, Neil Olafson, Claire's shielded emotions start simmering. He's the opposite of everything she's ever wanted, a man who ignites her latent sensuality. And while her eerie powers have frightened others away, Neil isn't running. When Claire comes face-to-face with danger, he becomes her protector--as well as her lover.
Now, Claire and Neil must confront the past and save the life of a young innocent. But there is a killer lurking in the background who wants them both dead before they can unravel his dirty secrets. And he's been very busy. . . .
***** (5 stars) Only Cait London can write such a stimulating Romantic Suspense novel that readers will be unable to tear themselves away from. Though the story focuses on Claire and Neil, readers will come to know Claire's sisters and mother as well. Claire is the one that brings balance to her family. She brings them together, somehow, and helps solve or soothe family troubles. As an empath, she instinctively wants to help, to heal. Pairing the empath with a troubled (and divorced) male neighbor is a stroke of genius, in my opinion.
This is a stand alone tale. I did not feel as though I was left hanging at the end. You will not have to read the following two books in this trilogy; however, there is a subplot which runs throughout this book, and it will be used within all three stories. To get the full effect, I highly recommend reading the entire trilogy. No one writes like Cait London! Excellent! *****

I simply could not read this book fast enough. Psychics have always
fascinated me so this story was exactly the kind of thing I thoroughly
enjoy reading. I'm not sure I'm patient enough to wait for the second book
in the trilogy, Tempest's story. It cannot be published quickly enough for
me!

AT THE EDGE starts off Cait London's new trilogy with an excellent got-to-know-what-happens-next thriller. Claire and Neil are so genuinely likeable that you really enjoy reading about them. Claire is caring, just as you would expect an empath to be. Life experiences have made her delicate and just like her family, you want to cradle her from harm. That's what made Neil the perfect hero for her. He is her protector, but he's more than that. Neil is able to bring out her fun side, and yes he's even able to bring out her grumpy side. The two of them have a true connection, and it's great to be a part of it, even if only for a few hours.
I love the family dynamics between the girls' mother, Greer, and the triplets, Claire, Tempest, and Leona. Due to their shared heritage this family is closer than most. It's great watching them look out for each other and I can't wait to see more of that in Tempest's and Leona's stories.
This story takes you through so many twists and turns and makes connections that you never saw coming. It also sets the stage for an underlying mystery that will flow through all three books. This only serves to make me even more anxious for further installments. I loved AT THE EDGE and I'm sure you will too. I just know it will leave you panting for Tempest's story, coming soon.

(5 stars)...This is the charming first of a trilogy of romantic fantasy tales starring the Aisling triplets. Claire is a terrific character as her need to help others hurts her since she can be mentally overloaded with everyone else's problems (sort of an adult version of the X-Men's Rogue). Neil is a skeptic who wonders if he fell in love with a nut case until he begins to see her capabilities. Fans will be charmed by Cait London's entertaining story of love between the psychic and the skeptic with two more tales to come.

Cait London has created a very compelling romantic thriller. The writing draws you into the lives of the characters, and does not let you go. Claire's sisters, Leona and Tempest, have amazing abilities of their own and their relationship is an important dynamic. Their psychic abilities are interesting and I found their uses intriguing. The brief glimpses allow us to become acquainted with the sisters who will each have their own story. The action was constant and danger was almost always present. This is a very suspenseful read, and a wonderful romance. AT THE EDGE is a marvelous launching point for a new trilogy.

HHHH HOT
This book, the first in a trilogy, features psychic triplets and their
equally psychic mother. The writing is excellent and includes some emotional
moments. The development of the heroine's powers and the hero's gradual
acceptance of them are nicely done. There are two mysteries that progress
nicely with one carrying on into the up-coming stories.
