Excited! Preparing a Book Launch

I’m amid preparing to add the final book in my Fresh Start trilogy. And so delighted with the new covers by Tammy Seidick. My niece was kind to provide the forest background for each book, which she had photographed. She’s an excellent photographer and journalist.

Book #1, JUST YOU and Book #2 JUST LOVE (each are being edited now, lining up for a special ending in Book #3), have had to wait through my various transitions and family passings for Book #3 JUST US. I’ve written several article about Novel Interruptus, which is life happens and we must deal with whatever. On that note, with JUST US complete and in edit, I am so very happy to finalize my Fresh Start trilogy. BTW, if you are a writer, please do drop in for tips?

I’m preparing JUST US for reviewers and do hope they love the story as much as I do. A lot of me—smile here—but not all is in these contemporary women choosing their new lives. It’s not that easy, a step by step path, making life choices as best we can, some very difficult. As in most or maybe all of my books, I’ve made various choices (some for dramatic changes) and am so aligned with these 3 women in their struggles for new and better lives.

Here’s a brief introduction to these three strong “almost sisters” women, who set off to change their lives. (That’s my attitude too: if you’re not happy with something you CAN change, do it.):

  1. JUST YOU: Kenna Peck. She needed a new life, but she couldn’t forget him.
  2. JUST LOVE: Olivia Oldfield (Double O). One man ruined her dreams and her life. Could she trust and love again? NOTE: I couldn’t resist the humor in Olivia’s story.
  3. JUST US; Crystal Waring, mother of adult children. Could she really rebuild her life and herself, or would her past destroy everything?

JUST US is coming soon, and during the writing of Crystal’s story, story ideas flooded my mind. Stories are infectious to the writer’s mind, you know, and like others, I am full of them.

While I’m busy in the final editing of all three and preparing for reviewers, I hope you are enjoying life and cooler weather. And if you get a chance, please follow me on BookBub, Instagram, Amazon, and Facebook? Or you might enjoy my infrequent newsletter? Please do check these out? Thank you so much!

Yes, I’m getting back to work after a hiatus in which I did publish a cozy mystery anthology, my first. Plus I got back to painting, which I also love. I hope you also have skills/hobbies/interests, which also ease, comfort and give you much enjoyment.

Until next time…
